We focus in this course on the consequences of the Internet on the economics and firms’ strategies. In the first part, we focus on the specificities of the Internet on Supply side (economies of scale, production and delivery costs, etc.) and on the Demand side (network externalities, consumer feedbacks, etc.). In the second part, we analyze the impacts of digitalization of activities on different firms’ strategies such as pricing, communication/marketing, technological standard, cooperation, etc.
