In a fisrt part, we describe the development-natural resources nexus in a theoretical perspective. We also present sustainable development and the contributions of nautral capital to sustainabilty. In a second part, the course focuses on the links between migrations and development, their theoretical and empirical dimensions, especially with regards to remittances.
