The economics of the environment and natural resources helps to understand how economic activity weakens the biosphere, and how to deal with the resulting environmental problems. The objective of this course is to familiarize students with the application of economic reasoning to environmental issues and policies. Theoretical concepts will be addressed as part of the study of environmental themes.
